How do you curl your hair with GHD straightner??

Hi.. i have long hair and its quite wavy so i straighten it, but i would like to know, how do you actually curl your hair with these straightners? i went to the hairdressers a couple months back, and they did it really well, my hair was really curly and they lasted, they curled it with the original ghds's, i just brought some last week and iv been trying to curl my hair, but just dont know how to, the only reason i brought the originals was so i could curl my hair, ive already had the thick plated ghd's for 2 years.... help!!How do you curl your hair with GHD straightner??
lift your hair up to 180 degrees put the straighteners in and twist them to180 degrees or more then pull through to the ends this should be perfect provided you do it right (I'm a hairdresser)How do you curl your hair with GHD straightner??
twist it with your fingers
If your hair has some frizz, it is a good idea to straighten it before trying to curl so that the curls are neat. You need to grab small sections of hair (depending on the size curl you want) then pinch the bottom of the hair in between the straighteners and wrap it upwards. Hold the straighteners in place for a few seconds when you reach the top, then open them slightly and let the curl slip out. It is best to start with the underneath hair at the back of your head and work your way round. Spritz with hairspray when you are done to hold everything in place.
Hi, if you're talking about normal flat straighteners - then what you need to do is blow dry your hair straight first to make it easier. Then, you need to pull each section of hair through the straighteners while twisting the straighteners around in a spiral motion as you go down. As you get near the last say...3 inches of hair in the section - really twist it round quite tightly so the hair is wrapped around the whole straightener hold it for a couple of seconds and then release the straightener from your hair.

Then, to define the curl twirl your index finger around it from the root down to the end and then spray some hairspray in it to give it some hold.

Hope that makes sense!!!
roll your curl up with your fingers and then press the straighteners on the curled bit that came off your fingers- hey presto!
Check out the vids on the GHD website, they show you how to do it. I've tried it before though and just can't get it to work on my own hair.

Go to Trends, then Looks and there's loads of video's of stuff you can do with your hair.
i had trouble with the exact same thing!!!!

if you look in the book that comes with the GHDs, there is a GHD website which gives styling tips!the website shows a video with instructions, showing you how to curl your hair!!!its really good and easy to follow!!!
Put the straightener on let it heat for sometime. Put your hair through, roll your hair around the straightener and hold on to it for sometime after releasing it the curls will come
