How do you curl your hair?

i have a curl iron AND a straighter. i hear u can curl ur hair with a straighter too. since i didnt know h0w to use it with the curl iron i looked up on youtube how to curl ur hair with a straightner. i tried wat they did and still couldnt get it. so how do i do it with the straightner? an easy way plzzz!!!! my hairs extremely thick. u can leave me a url i guessHow do you curl your hair?
it depends on your hair texture. but saying you can't get it to curl, i assume it's strait. i have frizzy, wavy hair naturally but straiten all the time. when i have a formal event i usually curl it with a straitner because it makes pretty waves. so to get the waves, i straiten my hair first, then i take the straitner, starting from the top and slowly start to twist it, the straitner pointed up. when i finish and its still hot, i spray the strand with hair spray, then repeat. do each strand and you'll have pretty waves:D it also helps to have a straitner no bigger than 1';

i not sure how to do it that way but try to do it with flexi-rods or curlers so the heat won't damage your hair
I either use my curling iron or I scrunch it (cuz I end up getting nice spiral curls when I scrunch it, a bit frizzy though) but I have friends who use their straightener or one that sleeps in curlers, yes, old lady curlers :) haha
follow these steps







# Start off by dividing your hair, this can be done by parting your hair into two parts straight down the middle. For each side, roll your hair into a bun and hold it up with a clip. You also should repeat the last step for the other part of your hair.



# Turn on your straightener, and place it onto a sensible place.



# You will then need to take a bit of hair out of your bun this section of your hair you take out should be as thick as one of your fingers.



# You then need to hold that section of hair near the end of the straightener. You are then required to place the iron over the section of your hair. Afterwards, wrap that section of hair around the bottom plate.



# You will then need to gently close the straightener lightly gripping the section of your hair. Then glide the straightener down towards the ends and rotate it outwards. If you don't like the curl you end up with you can always try again on the same section of your hair



# You then need to repeat step 3-5, and use it to curl up the rest of your hair with a straightener.

You can also style your hair in different ways, plus its better for your hair and the curls hold better and last a long time.
